We wish more task management apps took this broad approach rather than getting bogged down in details. Much the same goes for the calendar: just open it and there are all your tasks, neatly arranged. If you need a complete overview of what needs to be done, just open the directory and you’re good to go. Let’s take a look at what TickTick can do.Īll you need to use TickTick is a working mouse.Īs we mentioned earlier, TickTick also allows you to stack several lists into a single directory, making overview easy. However, if you use TickTick as intended, as a lightweight task manager with some advanced functions, you’ll quickly find you’re dealing with one of the best designed and most easy-to-use apps out there.

While TickTick is one of the best project management tools for freelancers, it won’t be replacing the full suites like or Asana anytime soon. If you’re just looking for an app to keep track of grocery lists and the like, TickTick will be OK, but Any.do will be better. It also has some advanced features, like a solid calendar and a kanban board, but it’s not as powerful as a full project management program.TickTick is a solid tool for freelancers or very small businesses that want to keep on top of tasks without too much of a learning curve. This TickTick review will go over all the main points of this handy little tool. It straddles the line between task management and project management, and does so at a really good price and with great ease of use. If you’re not sure whether you need the best project management software or just a simple task manager, then TickTick may be an interesting choice.

A month ago an update claimed to fix issues with sync but it hasn't synced consistently since. A while back it seems Google changed their interface and thus broke Gtasks. It's best feature used to be that it synched using Google Tasks thus I could use it on my iPhone, my iPad, my Mac, and even keep track from non-Apple devices via Google. As a stand-alone app it handles my scheduling, but ONLY on my iPhone. I still use Gtasks Pro daily, but not happily. I liked Gtasks so much when it worked :(. I'm trying to decide between Todiost and TickTick. Closed Gtasks, restarted it, checked sync status, and it had failed. Went thru and got it up to date, pausing after each task update so it could sync. Synced ok, but it was all out of date, likely since it hasn't synced for several months. I deleted all my installations, then reinstalled iPhone copy.
